Inspired by a performance I saw atthe ICA in London in 2005. Below is a description of the event taken from the promotional material for the performance.
The COSMIC WRESTLING MATCH between Adam Nankervis (as “The Ghost of Joseph Beuys”) versus David Medalla (as “The Spirit of Marcel Duchamp aka Rros Selavy”). The referee for this metaphorical wrestling match (a unique live event which will last several rounds) will be Guy Brett. The Gong Master will be Marko Stepanov. English artist James Moores will be the Bets Vetter aka The Bookie. The viola player will be Miles Christie. The seconds will be Dan Bourke, Gordon Johnstone and Tiago Slewinski. The ICA in London was the venue of a live event by Joseph Beuys, while the founders of the ICA (Sir Herbert Read and Roland Penrose) were personal friends of Marcel Duchamp. Nankervis and Medalla’s Wrestling Match will be their Double-Homage to those two Masters of Modern Art.

What are the frames made from: Frames are made from wood with a satin painted or veneer finnish. Fixings are attached and the frames are ready to hang. Please see last image for reference.
What is the difference between Limited and Open editions?
Limited editions; only 25 copies in each size, signed and numbered. The image is not cropped. White space around the image is included so it can be framed to show the artist signature and number of the edition.
Open editions; images are cropped to fit standardised commercially available frame sizes; 30 x 30cm, 40 x 40cm, A4 and A3. They have no additional white space, and bear no signature or number.
